Overpaying is so yesterday.

Making the unknown, known
You might already know, but it bears repeating.
Your network OEM does not manufacture the transceivers they are selling to you.
The most likely case is that these transceivers are outsourced to transceiver contract manufacturers (CMs), who produce transceivers for one or more OEMs. Before the OEM ships the transceiver to you, it slaps on its brand - and a massive markup - that you must pay for.
Transceiver standards are governed by Multi-Source Agreements (MSAs), which are widely adopted by transceiver CMs. These MSAs specify standards, such as form factor, electrical consumption, as well as transmit and receive power. MSAs are a great way for CMs to manufacture transceivers on behalf of multiple OEMs. Find out more with our article on Multi-Source Agreements.
What this means - as long as key, industry-agreed standards are met, it is possible to program a transceiver to perform exactly like its OEM counterpart, less the massive markup.
Sky Asia Technology has a wide variety of compatible transceivers that can be programmed exactly for the devices you're using. Major brands such as Cisco, Juniper, HPE Aruba, Fortinet etc. are supported. They deliver the same performance at a fraction of what the OEM charges. Check out our dedicated blog post on compatible transceivers.
Let us offer a challenge - don't take our word for it. Check out what we've said online, using the bolded terms as a start. If you feel that there could be a better way to procure transceivers, and stop overpaying for what the OEMs don't even make themselves, perhaps we can offer more information.
Get the same performance, the same compatibility, at a different price point.
